Hey, I’m Olivia Thornton, and Meal Prep Simple exists because I believe eating well shouldn’t feel like a part-time job. Welcome I’m so happy you’re here.

Our Story
Olivia’s journey to meal prep started with a broken wrist. Three years ago, living alone in Brisbane, Australia, she fractured her dominant hand in a cycling accident and suddenly couldn’t cook in her usual elaborate, two-hour way. For eight weeks, she had one hand, a blender, and a burning desire not to live on delivery food. She adapted everything — simplified techniques, pre-cut vegetables, one-pan combinations that required minimal assembly. What she discovered shocked her: those simpler meals were often more satisfying, less wasteful, and far easier to repeat. When her wrist healed, she didn’t go back to complicated cooking. She had accidentally stumbled onto the meal prep philosophy that would define her blog: simplicity isn’t settling — it’s smart. She launched Meal Prep Simple the following spring and hasn’t looked back.
